When I called for help I was given the time of day without any expectation of payment (after being thrown around by other places). One of his signature services is that once he's set up a website, he sits down with you for a tutorial to show you how to navigate the site and update it yourself. He's super patient and knows his stuff. He really listens and is very easy to work with.
He also gave me a bunch of tips about how to market my business; he's very strategic!

Our website, vhby.com, was in dire need of a makeover and Matthew did an outstanding job listening to our needs and incorporating them. In the past we had to do all of the hard work, coming up with a design, picking a layout and then selecting every image. For someone with no creativity it was exhausting. Matthew made it so easy and continues to be a valuable resource and very helpful whenever questions, changes or updates arise. A... read moreI choose Global Web FX after looking around for some time. I talked to a number of high end web developers who were quoting me way more money than I could spend. A local one spent at least an hour on the phone trying to convince me that I would make the money back as soon as my new web page launched. I'm doing specialize training and consulting so it's not like people were going to start clicking away and the money would pour in.
The thing is, most of the other developers were proposing to base my new page on Word Press. Matt's quote was not only reasonable but included tutoring in Word Press so that once launched, I could maintain and alter the page. Matt and Jon took my old crappy page, pulled off the pictures and video I wanted to use again, hooked me up with a new web host (I hate Godaddy!!) and helped me with my paypal needs.
The operation works out of Matt's house so if you're looking for a slick looking office, keep looking, but he keeps the over-head low and delivers what he promises.
When I asked about search engine optimization, he told me that I didn't need to spend the money and showed me other alternatives. I love it when a provider shows me how to save money.
